KNOCKOUT CUP FINAL

St Mary’s 1   Crofton 1  (Crofton won 8-7 on penalties)

Heartbreak for the second week running for St Mary’s as Crofton sneaked a penalty shoot out win to take the knockout cup. St Mary’s had created several chances from attractive football before Crofton scrambled the lead after St Mary’s failed to clear. An equaliser soon followed with a clinical finish completed a fluent move down the right wing. No further goals, but chances at both ends and some excellent goalkeeping kept the scores level in this high quality match.
