On Saturday 8th March we played Wandsworth away in the Lester Finch Trophy. We dominated the first half playing  some good football against the strong wind and deservedly took the lead with a Harry Harding goal. Unfortunately we were pegged back before half time when Wandsworth scored from a free kick. 1-1 at half time.

We did not sustain the standard of our play as the second half commenced and found ourselves 2-1 behind. However, we fought back when Chris Dobson equalised and then looked the more likely to go on and win the game.

It was not to be, though, as Wandsworth grabbed a third, and from that moment  on we seemed to be second best.

The final score of 3-2 to the home side seemed rather cruel considering our first half performance. Keep trying lads.
