On Saturday 22nd February we hosted a friendly against Barking & Dagenham at Cockmannings Lane. It would be fair to say we did not compete in the first half and by half time the score was 3-0 to the opposition.

Our performance in the second half was much improved. We scored an early goal through James Keyworth, who was outstanding on the day, only to concede a further two.

We then had a purple patch when we got the ball down and passed much better. Goals from Matthew Hooker and a superb strike from James Keyworth put us back in with a chance in the game.

However, just when we appeared to be coming closer to a fourth, Barking & Dagenham added another two quick goals to make the final score 7-3.

The second period certainly saw a better effort. Well tried lads.
