Due to an administrative error on the part of the Tour company, the local fixture secretary or the host club itself, our opposition in this game had players up to 2 years below our age group in their team. Consequently this did not really prove a competitive outing. While we enjoyed scoring a hatful of goals, in the end it became something of a farce! It was nonetheless a run-out.

We had notched 9 goals by half time! In order the scorers were:

Daniel Howse, Daniel Powell 2, Luke Saunders, Daniel Powell again, Daniel Howse once more, Jason Carroll and 2 more for Daniel Powell.

We tried our best not to run riot in the second half but could not help adding another 6 goals:

Jason Carroll added his second, then Jamie Hayes scored his first goal for the side, Aaron Medgett grabbed two, and Luke Saunders and Daniel Howse completed the scoring.

We put together some nice moves to create these goals and there was some satisfaction in some of our passing, but overall the game was too one sided to mean a lot.

We will however, treat it as a victory that was part of our season.
